Join us inside L’OCA Labs for a delicious journey through some of Brazil’s most iconic flavours!
Chef Fabricio Daros will start the evening with a welcoming Caipirinha, Brazil's classic cocktail, made with Cachaça, a distilled beverage made from sugarcane juice.
Next, we’ll explore two beloved deep-fried street-food staples: Pastel and Coxinha.
You’ll learn from Chef Fabricio how these snacks are traditionally prepared and enjoy a tasting that shows why they’re some of Brazil’s most addictive bites.
From there, we’ll dive into the heart of the experience: Feijoada Completa, Brazil’s national dish, and a comforting, celebratory meal that captures the warmth of Brazilian home cooking.
Together, you’ll prepare a full, traditional spread featuring Black Bean and Pork Stew, White Rice, Sautéed Collard Greens, Crispy Pork Belly, Vinaigrette, Orange Supremes, and Brazilian-Style Hot Sauce.
Then, we’ll wrap up on a sweet note with Pudim, a silky Brazilian flan that’s simple, elegant, and an absolute crowd-pleaser.
Hands-on and full of flavour, Travel On A Plate: Brazil is a perfect way to experience the diversity and soul of Brazilian cuisine inside L’OCA Labs.

About your instructor
Chef Fabricio Daros
Born and raised on the prairies of Brazil, Chef Fabricio Daros brings a rich culinary heritage to L’OCA Quality Market.
His mother, a pastry chef, instilled a respect for small farmers and introduced him to the Uruguayan parrilla tradition of cooking an entire animal with charcoal over an open fire.
His father, a baker of Italian descent, helped Chef Fabricio develop a deep appreciation of Mediterranean ingredients and flavours.
Chef Fabricio feels that food has always been the language that connects him with other people and to the land.
